Does GridChief work with iRacing hosted sessions?
Yes. GridChief works with any iRacing session that has a subsession ID, including hosted sessions, official league races, heat events, and multi-class fields. Paste the subsession ID to import results, or connect your iRacing league to sync them automatically.
Is GridChief free?
Yes. The free tier includes 1 league with up to 20 drivers, 1 active season, a public standings page, and manual results import. Pro costs 9.99 EUR per month or 99 EUR per year and unlocks unlimited leagues, drivers, and active seasons, plus iRacing Sync and the full points system builder.
How do race results get into GridChief?
Two ways. Paste a subsession ID from iRacing and GridChief imports the full results, including qualifying, heat sessions, and multi-class fields. Or connect your iRacing league in Settings and let iRacing Sync import completed sessions and schedule upcoming rounds automatically.
Can I customize the points system?
Fully. Start from an F1, NASCAR, or flat preset, or define your own points up to 100 positions deep. Add drop rounds, week-based scoring, qualifying points, and bonus points for fastest lap, pole position, most positions gained, and clean races. Tiebreak rules are configurable too.
How does the Discord integration work?
Paste a Discord webhook URL into your league settings. GridChief posts race results and championship standings as rich embeds, automatically after each import or on demand if you prefer manual control, and stewards can push penalty decisions and round summaries to the same channel.
Do my drivers need GridChief accounts?
No. Your public standings page is open to anyone with the link, no login required. Drivers who do sign up and link their iRacing account are matched to their results automatically and get a personal stats page with charts, head-to-head records, and full race history.
